Our outpatient program also serves as a vital steppingstone during the transition from inpatient treatment to everyday life in recovery.

Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)
Wichita PHP Addiction Treatment Overview
The Valley Hope of Wichita PHP Addiction Treatment program provides a highly structured, specialized outpatient option. Patients attending our Kansas PHP program meet Monday – Friday for 20 sessions (four weeks).
Partial Hospitalization Program sessions include psychoeducation, group therapy, mindfulness practice, and practice processing. Patients will learn about topics including the effect of addictive substances on the brain and body, family dynamics, relapse prevention, building a support system, 12 Step education, coping skills, the biological aspects of addiction, and more. PHP patients also practice activities that will help them build tools to increase coping skills such as practicing gratitude, mindful expression, writing, completing a daily inventory, and creating a custom relapse prevention plan.
