The Tennessee Valley Canoe Club brings together a diverse community of paddlers of all ages to enjoy paddlesports on the rivers, creeks, and lakes in the Southeast. With a focus on promoting safety and training of paddlers, TVCC is also strongly committed to the conservation and preservation of local recreational waterways. TVCC is a multi-award-winning Paddle America Club, recognized for its outstanding programs and commitment to further paddlesports education, stewardship, recreational opportunities, conservation, and community.
TVCC is dedicated to giving back to the community. Members voluntarily work to clean up over 90 miles of local waterways to keep them free of trash and dangerous obstructions. TVCC members also generously provide their time and skills to support a variety of watersports activities that include the Chattanooga Waterfront Triathlon, events for Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, Women on the Water, Team River Runner, Chattanooga Paddlefest, and several others.
