My father passed away in March of 2016. Many of you remember him as a warm person with a lively and funny personality. The true life of the party. Because at his core, that's who he was. However, when people ask how he passed, I usually put up a front and tell them it was an accident. I try to hide the truth because it's so different from how you remember him. The truth is he struggled with mental health challenges and sadly wasn't willing to accept help. It was a traumatic experience for not only me but also our family, our friends, and even our community. I'd like to dedicate this fundraiser to Greater Nashua Mental Health to raise mental health awareness and help people understand that they're not alone. That help is just a phone call away.
